JULY 18th

Thank you.... Thank you.... Thank you....

The Berks Celtic Oyster Fest was a big success thanks to you.
Thanks to you our sponsors who believed in us from the start: Ganly's Pub, Trooper Thorn's, The Performance Group, ATV Bakery, Fleetwood Bank, Dimitriou and Geishauser Law Offices, The McGuire Clan in memory of John Owen McGuire former AoH President, The Moore Family, Jakes of Mt. Penn,

C & C Asset Management, State Senator Judy Schwank, Pennside Drive-In, Stone Financial, The Doyle Family, South Mountain Beer Distributor, Charlie Goodman and Outten Chevrolet, and Effie's Charcoal Chef. Without your jump start this festival would have been near impossible.
Thank you to our friends who contributed so generously to our Irish auction and provided prizes for the many contests: Brewer's Bar and Grill, Jimmy G's Railroad House, The Pike Cafe, D & J Sandwich Shop, The Peanut Bar, All-Star Distributing, and Dooney and Bourke.
Thank you to all the volunteers who worked so hard to make this a success. No one in an orange T-shirt, or a green polo shirt for that matter, made one penny that day. They worked before the festival, all day during the festival, and after the festival. Because of them, our club benefited enormously.
Thank you to our vendors who traveled from far and near to give our rejuvenated festival a chance. You gave the day so much color and life.
Thank you to the great musicians who gave our festival its magical sound, the hilarious and talented Seamus Kennedy, the rockin' Paul Moore Band, and the gifted Blackwater. But don't forget the signature sound of the Hamilton Celtic Pipes and Drums Band or our fabulous harpists who added so much tradition.
Finally, thank you to all the great people who attended the festival. Without you, there is no celebration, no music, no colors, no beautiful July day filled with the sights and sounds of our Celtic heritage. Thank you to those of Berks County, but thank you to those who came from outside Berks to join in our festival too. Thank you to those of Celtic heritage, but also to those of other backgrounds who came out to celebrate with us. That is what the day is truly about.
But mostly, to everyone... Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
